Auto Bodily Injury Claim Adjuster

We are seeking a highly skilled Auto Bodily Injury Claim Representative to join our team at Travelers. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating claims to determine coverage and liability.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage and liability
- Handle 3rd party Personal Insurance and Business Insurance ABI claims
- Apply policy, legislation, and company guidelines to manage loss costs and customer relations
- Communicate with customers and other stakeholders to resolve claims
- Manage claims files and maintain accurate records
- Identify and refer claims to the Major Case Unit or other relevant teams
- Perform other duties as required
- University degree or equivalent business experience
- Enrollment in the CIP program is an asset
- High proficiency with Windows-based programs, including spreadsheet and word-processing applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and apply policies and procedures
- Proficiency in typing
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Adjusters license as required, based on business needs
- Customer service orientation and empathy
- Math skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Hardware and software skills to utilize and leverage claim and estimating technology
