Job Description

Webuild is a leading international construction company with 120 years of experience in complex infrastructure projects. As a Construction Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of our projects from inception to completion.

This role involves managing project schedules, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet the required specifications.

Safety First

You will enforce safety and evacuation procedures, leading by example. This includes responsible driving, wearing personal protective equipment on-site, and adhering to local, state, and federal regulations.

Demolition Expertise

You will develop and manage demolition plans and schedules, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that all aspects of the demolition are considered and planned for.

You will ensure that all demolition activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards. This includes conducting risk assessments, providing safety training, and ensuring that all safety equipment is used correctly.

Leadership Skills

You will oversee the daily operations on the demolition site, monitoring progress, addressing any issues that arise, and ensuring that the site is maintained in a safe and orderly manner.

You will monitor and control project costs to ensure that the demolition stays within budget. This involves tracking expenses, managing invoices, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing underground construction projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
