About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Business Analyst to join our team at National Bank. As a senior analyst in the Insurance team, you will play a critical role in understanding the business context and the impact of projects on processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to and/or lead the delivery of business initiatives as a team member
  • Identify business needs, manage impacts on operations, and participate in recommending optimal solutions
  • Reevaluate current operating methods and business rules to drive process improvements
  • Manage stakeholders and facilitate collaboration to bring together different interests
  • Raise results, issues, and risks to ensure informed decision-making
  • Work with the Agile Mindset in the delivery team to drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Carry out assessments to support solutions by documenting requirements in business specifications for solution designers and developers
  • Understand business issues, identify stakeholder needs, propose and deploy strategies and solutions, considering the diverse nature of cases to support project completion
  • Translate business requirements into technical objectives for development teams
  • Assist team members and business units with IT application support as needed
  • Participate in delivering solutions that meet business needs and align with the target architecture
  • Participate in carrying out various assessments (context, issues, impacts, functional, non-functional, and informational, processes, business rules) to identify discrepancies between the current situation and the desired target
  • Participate in effective end-to-end change management
  • Team-based incident management
About the Team

You will be part of a team of 10 colleagues from the Insurance and IT sector, reporting to the Business Strategy Delivery Director. Our team is known for its strong teamwork, collaboration, and good humor. We prioritize continuous learning and development, offering a range of opportunities to enrich your skills and expertise.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of activity and five years of relevant experience, or master's degree in a related field of activity and three years of relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in business analysis
  • Experience in business process management
  • Experience in change management
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodology
  • Strong strategic thinking, vision, analytical, and synthesis skills
  • Ability to analyze needs and influence stakeholders, with excellent writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team and facilitate decision-making
  • Ability to lead workshops
