Job Title: Life Skills Coach - Community Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a Life Skills Coach to join our team at the Developmental Disabilities Association. As a Life Skills Coach, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities to develop and implement life skills training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement life skills training programs for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs
  • Provide one-on-one support and coaching to clients to help them develop life skills
  • Liaise with other service providers and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Developmental Services Worker (DSW) Training
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
