Job Title: Life Skills Coach

We are seeking a skilled Life Skills Coach to join our team at the Developmental Disabilities Association. As a Life Skills Coach, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities to develop and implement life skills training programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement life skills training programs for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs
  • Provide one-on-one support and coaching to clients to help them develop life skills
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of life skills training programs
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. social work, psychology, education)
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
