About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Supervisor to join our team at GP Pacific Contracting. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our production team and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. This includes managing resources, prioritizing tasks, and identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Health and Safety: Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned with project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Language: English
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
