Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at WHITE MUD DRYWALL LTD.
Key Responsibilities- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes.
- Layout Preparation: Prepare layouts using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Construction Execution: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.
- Disability Awareness: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities.
- Youth Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Veteran Support: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Indigenous Support: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Mature Worker Support: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
- Visible Minority Support: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
