Job Title: Bookkeeper

At FLASH CPA, we are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Fast-paced environment and ability to work under pressure
  • Reliability and time management skills
Working Conditions:
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
  • Permanent employment
  • English language
