Welding Fabricator

Rosser, Canada Mehtoj Group Ltd Full time

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join the Mehtoj Group Ltd team. The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in welding and will be able to interpret welding process specifications, operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment, and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret Welding Process Specifications: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Operate Welding Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment and brake, shear and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines.
  • Examine Welds: Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate Flame-Cutting Equipment: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Fabricate Metal Parts: Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Start/Shutdown Robotic Welding Production Line: Start up, shut down, adjust and monitor robotic welding production line.
Requirements:
  • Criminal Record Check: Pass a criminal record check.
  • Own Transportation: Own transportation to and from work.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Free Parking: Free parking available on site.
Work Conditions:
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
