Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team at Payless Truck Repair & Parts Ltd. As a Welding Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using various welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes to ensure accurate fabrication and repair.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal.
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines to shape and form metal.
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using various welding techniques.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.

  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with heavy lifting and physical demands.
  • Work in a team environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
  • Work in a safe and healthy work environment with proper training and equipment.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes.
  • Ability to work in a team environment with a focus on quality and productivity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with heavy lifting and physical demands.
