Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients using various methods, including focused interviewing and data collection.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote improved psychosocial/emotional well-being.
  • Educate and consult with clients and healthcare professionals on issues related to social work practice and clinical specialty areas.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed client records, adhering to established professional and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, community service partners, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care planning and discharge planning.

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,503 - $106,945 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the BC Board of Registration for Social Workers.
  • Valid BC Driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Strong knowledge of psychosocial/emotional issues related to illness/injury/disease and current social work treatment modalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
