About the Opportunity

This role is a key position within our Enhanced Care Division, supporting regions across Mainland, Nova Scotia. As Workforce Manager, you will provide leadership and oversight for all operational elements of the Workforce Coordinator roles, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Direct supervision of Workforce Coordinators within the region, providing training and ongoing technical support
  • Regular travel to provide in-person support to your team and ensure open positions are filled within prescribed budgets
  • Collaboration with Corporate Workforce Services to understand workforce initiatives and educate team members on changes
  • Accountability for regular audits and completion of monthly invoicing validation for agency contracts
About You

To be successful in this role, you should have relevant post-secondary education and a minimum two years of experience in human resources administration and/or payroll. Previous supervisory experience, particularly in unionized environments, is considered an asset.

A passion for the healthcare sector and a commitment to ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care are essential qualities for this role.

You should also possess advanced proficiency in the English language and be comfortable working with complex Time & Attendance systems and multiple union agreements.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is between $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
