Automotive Body Painter

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Painter to join our team at TDOT Rims & Tire Inc. as a Collision Repair Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive painting and repair, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, ensuring a smooth finish.
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, using precision and attention to detail.
- Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, requiring a strong understanding of automotive repair techniques.
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using a variety of paints and coatings.
- Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a precise match.
- Work 35 hours per week, with a permanent schedule.
- Communicate effectively in English, with a strong understanding of work-related terminology.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Will train on the job, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
