We are seeking a skilled Automotive Painter to join our team at DASHMESH AUTO BODY INC. As an Automotive Painter, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition.
Key Responsibilities- File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired
- Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Apply primers and repaint surfaces
- Mix paint, blend, and match colors
- Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Stand for extended periods
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Permanent employment
- 40 hours per week
- English as the primary language of work
- Support for newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
- Provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
