Structural Engineering Graduate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Structural Engineering Graduate to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our structural engineering team, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and project coordination of various structural systems, including bridges, culverts, and retaining wall structures.
Responsibilities- Assist in the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of new structural systems, including bridges, culverts, and retaining wall structures.
- Conduct condition assessments of various structures and structural components, and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, including structural, transportation, and municipal engineers, architects, electrical and mechanical engineers, transportation systems planners, land use planners, environmental scientists, and technical support staff.
- Assist with business development activities, including preparation of proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Support internal efforts to develop operational efficiencies and optimize internal design tools and approaches.
- A degree in civil engineering with technical electives in structural engineering topics.
- Eligible for registration with the PEO.
- Co-op or early career experience in structural engineering will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of relevant structural engineering codes and standards.
- Familiarity with structural analysis and design software, such as STAAD or PCA software, as well as proficiency in current AutoCAD, Revit, Brian, and building systems software.
