Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Physical Security Risk to develop, plan, implement, and maintain the Physical Security Risk (PSR) program and stewardship of the Facility Threat & Risk Assessment (FTRA) and Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) Programs on an Enterprise-wide basis for all Global RBC business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze current and emerging physical security risks through continuous FTRA's of critical facilities around the world.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure sound proactive and reactive measures in security risk management programs and solutions.
  • Manage and refine risk approaches within the Facility Threat & Risk Assessment process.
  • Represent Corporate Security Management and participate on various internal committees, industry working groups, and work with external parties as required.
Requirements
  • Proven 7-10 years of relevant and recent experience in corporate physical security and audit/assessments in financial services.
  • Excellent understanding of Threat Risk Assessments, Security Planning, Security Operations.
  • Experience in Corporate Physical Security in an enterprise setting, working in multiple geographic locations.
  • Working experience and knowledge in regulatory environments across major regions in the world.
  • Diplomatic skills and proven competency to interact with all levels of Management while displaying a high level of security professionalism and discretion.
