About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist Advancement Specialist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed pharmacist to take on a leadership role in our pharmacy department. As a Pharmacist Advancement Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our patients and healthcare professionals, while also driving business growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently to meet patient needs.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and supplies to meet patient demands.
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications, providing clear and concise information to ensure informed decision-making.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our pharmacy services and products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree and registered as a pharmacist in good standing.
  • Additional Prescribing Authority (APA) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
