We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Dinosaur Hotel Newcastle Bar and Sam's Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning and inventory management.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Flexibility and reliability are essential.
