Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Blue Jay Hospitality Ltd. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the café.
