Business Controller

Key Responsibilities:- Play an active role in country area management teams to ensure finance-related issues are being considered in local decision making.
- Act as a key finance partner to business leaders and support local decision making with analysis and reporting.
- Prepare and analyze reports of customer, project, product, and agreement profitability.
- Provide management with information and recommendations relative to financial transactions, operational costs, inventories, sales, orders, taxes, depreciation, property, and other asset values.
- Support the preparation of operating budgets and forecasts.
- Evaluate and implement approved programs to achieve cost reduction, improve controls, work simplification, and best equipment utilization.
- Recognize implications and relationships among problems and issues and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure that employees at all levels are aware of the company's policies, instructions, and guidelines in financial, legal, and IT matters.
- Conduct local audits of Service locations and report findings and recommendations to management.
- Requires a degree in Accounting/Business Administration.
- CPA Designation an asset.
- Eight (8) or more years progressive experience in preparatory accounting, financial analysis, and/or Controller positions in a Service environment.
- SAP, Siebel, or large ERP system strongly preferred.
