Inventory Control Manager

Join DESI MANDI as an Inventory Control Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational and leadership skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management system, coordinating activities with other departments, and providing technical advice to improve productivity and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery used for inventory management.
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out on inventory management systems.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Recruit and hire staff to support inventory management operations.
- Train workers in duties and policies related to inventory management.
- Arrange training for staff to improve their skills and knowledge in inventory management.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure staff are meeting expectations.
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle heavy loads.
- Flexibility and ability to work under pressure.
