Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Cribs to Crayons Daycare LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This includes planning and maintaining a safe and healthy environment, engaging children in activities, and assisting with daily routines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-12 years
  • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Engage children in activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assist with daily routines, including mealtime, naptime, and outdoor play
  • Supervise and support staff, trainees, or volunteers in the childcare setting
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a childcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Reliability and flexibility
