Job Title: Jeweller

New Ranganas Jewellery is seeking a skilled Jeweller to join our team. As a Jeweller, you will be responsible for creating and repairing intricate timepieces and precious jewellery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare parts for assembly using specialized cleaning solutions and equipment.
  • Fabricate and fit parts to create unique timepieces and jewellery pieces.
  • Train and mentor apprentices in the art of jewellery making.
  • Perform repairs and adjustments on watches and clocks.
  • Supervise and lead a team of Jewellers and watchmakers.
  • Examine and appraise gemstones and diamonds to identify rare specimens and detect any defects.
  • Examine, cut, shape, and polish diamonds and precious gems.
  • Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery.
  • Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings.
Requirements:
  • 20/20 vision and ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and lead others.
