At Trek Bicycle Canada ULC, we're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and features to effectively communicate with customers and meet their needs.
  • Provide personalized customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets, promote products, and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Participate in daily huddles and debriefs to stay informed about sales performance, customer feedback, and product knowledge.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, industry trends, and company initiatives to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to visual merchandising standards and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and processing returns.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service expertise.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive store culture, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and teamwork.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store and the company.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in the cycling industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong product knowledge and a passion for cycling and customer service.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive and inclusive store culture.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
