Job Title: Construction Labourer - Insulation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer - Insulation Specialist to join our team at Mike's Insulation Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the installation of insulation materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and performing other tasks related to construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping, and other application and installation methods
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
