The role will involve working on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial properties. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and will be able to meet deadlines and work to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning and sanding
  • Mix paint to the desired colour and texture
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging
  • Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical fitness

Working Conditions:
