Job Title: Director Tax Compliance

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Tax Compliance to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our affiliates with all applicable tax laws and managing our compliance team.

About the Role:
  • Ensure the compliance of Canadian and American affiliates of the BRP group with tax law, and ensure that they maximize their scientific research and experimental development claims in compliance with applicable tax laws;
  • Review and approve BRP's consolidated provision for income taxes;
  • Implement the process to ensure BRP's compliance with Canada's Global Minimum Tax Act and corresponding foreign laws;
  • Oversee the preparation, revision, and approval of BRP's income tax returns;
  • Monitor the preparation of income tax returns by BRP's foreign subsidiaries;
  • Manage Canadian/American tax audits and supervise the tax audits of BRP's other foreign affiliates;
  • Monitor amendments to tax legislation; assess the impacts and communicate the challenges for BRP;
  • Maintain an appropriate control environment for the management processes under your responsibility;
  • Proceed with the implementation and/or improvement of tax compliance processes.
About You:
  • Recognized professional certification in accounting and a master's degree in taxation or an equivalent degree;
  • Very strong ability to analyze and synthesize;
  • Good written communication skills;
  • Excellent English skills (oral and written);
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in tax compliance;
  • Good priority management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
