Avionics Systems Specialist

Bombardier is a global leader in aviation, focused on designing, manufacturing, and servicing exceptional business jets and specialized mission platforms. As an Avionics Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
- Operate ground support equipment as needed.
- Assist with mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines and maintenance at off-site locations.
- Avionics electric A/C Technical School or equivalent experience.
- Typically 0-2 years of avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
- Basic PC skills and effective communication in written and verbal form.
- Basic set of hand tools with inventory and control skills.
- Must obtain Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
- Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled workdays and holidays, and seasonal/inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable.
- A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft).
- Airframe Certification, Powerplant Certification, or Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate.
- Experience on corporate jet aircraft and commercial aircraft.
