Lead Operational Excellence at Manitoba Aerospace

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop and execute continuous improvement programs, leveraging methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Standardization: Establish and enforce standards and best practices across operational processes to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency.
  • Performance Management: Create key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure operational performance, monitor progress, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Change Management: Drive organizational change initiatives, ensuring effective communication, training, and support to facilitate the adoption of new processes and practices.
  • Training and Development: Design and implement training programs to build internal capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Technology and Innovation: Leverage advanced technologies, including data analytics, to enhance process efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols, maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Facility Management: Experience with facility planning & optimization.
  • Continuous Improvement Expertise: Deep knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile) and a track record of successfully implementing these practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in using data to drive decision-making and process optimization.
  • Change Management: Demonstrated experience in managing organizational change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with operational excellence tools, software, and technologies, including data analytics platforms and process management systems.
