CNC Machinist Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist Programmer to join our team at Next Level Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and machining, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain machine runtimes to meet department goals and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct and document geometry checks at designated intervals to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Train junior staff members in 5x programming, machine operation, and setup principles.
  • Contribute to the creation of standardized work processes and instructions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and recommend improvements in the scheduling system to optimize workflow.
  • Identify and resolve abnormal conditions in programs to minimize downtime and ensure quality.
  • Analyze nonconformance issues and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
Requirements:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical education or relevant experience preferred.
  • Previous experience as a machinist programmer.
  • Proficiency in 5x programming and principles.
  • Familiarity with CAM software, verification software, and quality checking software.
  • Strong knowledge of machining theory and practical applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Well-organized with good time management abilities.
