About the Job

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sechelt Hospital. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care, providing support to clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team, supporting the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes.
  • Work under the direction of an RN for patients requiring advanced levels of knowledge and skill beyond the scope of practice for Licensed Practical Nurses.
  • Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licensed Practical Nurses.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
