About the Role

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sechelt Hospital. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate client care, and provide support to clients and their families.
  • Work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary care team and under general supervision, and support the Registered Nurse in caring for clients with unpredictable outcomes.
  • Maintain and advance clinical competence pursuant to the standards of practice of BCCNM for Licensed Practical Nurses.

About Sechelt Hospital

Sechelt Hospital is an acute care, 46-bed facility located in Sechelt, British Columbia. We provide a full range of services to the community, including Emergency care, Renal program-community dialysis units, Mental Health and Substance Use Services, surgical services, birthing for low-risk pregnancies, and imaging services.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
