Job Title: Senior Project Manager Leader

Our valued Public Sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager Leader to lead the modernization of their Grants and Contributions Information Management System (GCIMS). The work will serve to provide information required for advancement of project approvals through the PHAC/HC Investment planning, project governance/gating, and IT gating processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop the project plan and project schedule.
  • Create gating documentation required for project planning.
  • Plan and coordinate project management activities including financial, planning, and contracting aspects.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of project personnel, internal clients, contractors, and other support providers.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project.
  • Set project's priorities in consultation with the product owner.
  • Plan project's scope and sequencing.
  • Manage risks, issues, and report progress.
  • Provide any other related project services necessary to support the G&C system modernization project.
  • Lead the Project Committees and working group committees, developing records of decisions and tracking action items.
  • Transfer knowledge to Government of Canada staff.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of GsCs experience as a Project Manager for the Government of Canada.
