Job Summary

Aecon is seeking an EHS Advisor to promote a health, safety, and environmental culture within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting site-specific safety orientations, training supervisors and staff on Aecon's Health, Safety, and Environmental Manual, and coordinating training programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct site-specific safety orientations and training programs
  • Develop and implement workplace safety plans
  • Conduct workplace inspections and audits
  • Coordinate training programs and materials
  • Participate in Joint Health and Safety Committees
  • Conduct accident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a health and safety role in the construction industry
  • WorkSafeBC Occupational First Aid Attendant Level 3 certification
  • Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and/or Certificate of Recognition (COR) Auditor certification
  • National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification
  • Strong knowledge of WorkSafe BC legislation

What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
