We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Roofer Apprentice to join our team at DeLeon Affordable Roofing. As an Asphalt Roofer Apprentice, you will play a vital role in the installation and repair of asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and metal roofs.
About the JobThis is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. The ideal candidate will have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field of employment and possess a strong physical ability to work in fast-paced environments with repetitive tasks.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Installing or replacing asphalt shingles, wood shingles, and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings
- Repairing or replacing single-ply roofing systems
- Installing and repairing metal roofs using hand and power tools
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- First Aid Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
