About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Quality Assurance Professional to join our team at Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. in Peterborough, Ontario. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing development and implementation of quality policies in compliance with customer requirements, codes, and standards. This includes participating in the establishment of methods to meet work schedules and coordinating work activities with other departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, auditing, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage development and implementation of quality policies and procedures
  • Participate in audits, investigations, and corrective actions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and reduce defects
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records related to quality assurance activities
  • Provide training and support to employees on quality-related topics
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A college diploma and/or three years of experience in a nuclear/infrastructure environment, preferably in Quality or a technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in the nuclear industry, with a focus on quality assurance and regulatory compliance
  • Authorized Nuclear Inspector or Nuclear Inspector Certification or qualification
  • Familiarity with Codes & Standards such as CANDU related ASME codes: Section III, CSA, CSA N299, US 10CFR50 Appendix B and ISO 9001
