Spare Parts Inventory Coordinator

Job Summary:
The Spare Parts Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for managing the inventory of spare parts for BioVectra. This includes working with maintenance and engineering to gather information on spare parts, using inventory control software to search for material numbers, researching and obtaining materials, vendors, and distributors, and issuing requisitions for necessary items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with maintenance and engineering to gather information on spare parts and other general information for mechanical and electrical parts.
- Use inventory control software to search for material numbers and gain material information.
- Research and obtain materials, vendors, and distributors.
- Issue requisitions for necessary items and maintain accurate inventory visibility.
- Enter and track all spare parts data in the Blue Mountain software suite.
- Bridge the transition of spare parts from the ERP system to the Blue Mountain software suite as required.
- Establish minimum and maximum for spares.
- Perform inventory counts on a regular basis.
- Perform the physical organization and upkeep of the spare parts inventory.
- Update work orders templates for continuous improvement.
- Work with maintenance and engineering to create a document management of change.
- Assess current documentation to leverage spare part lists that are already developed.
- Assist maintenance with day-to-day tasks when required.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Inventory Management or related field.
- 2 years' experience working in an industrial or commercial environment.
- Purchasing experience is considered an asset.
- Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering trade experience considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Driver License.
