Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Haliburton Highlands Health Services. As a key member of our medical imaging department, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating complex medical equipment, preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, and assisting with radiological examinations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop your skills as a Radiation Therapist.

• Operate advanced medical equipment, including linear accelerators and CT scanners;
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process;
• Assist with radiological examinations, taking into account patient positioning, movement, and radiation safety protocols;
• Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to strict quality control and safety standards.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Radiation Technology and hold current certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists. Experience working in a hospital or medical facility setting is highly desirable, as is proficiency in French (though not required).

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
