About the Role

Mishra Farms is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our farm operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient production of our crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Farm Plans

Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure the smooth operation of our farm.

Earthwork and Field Preparation

Level earth to fine grade specifications and oversee the activities of clearing the fields.

Financial and Production Record Keeping

Maintain accurate financial and production records to ensure the optimal use of resources.

Agricultural Services

Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting to ensure the health and productivity of our crops.

Team Supervision

Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers to ensure the efficient completion of tasks.

Quality Control and Record Keeping

Maintain quality control and production records to ensure the highest standards of quality and productivity.

Crop Operations Supervision

Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations to ensure the optimal use of resources.

Work Records and Logs

Maintain accurate work records and logs to ensure the efficient operation of our farm.

General Farm Duties

Perform general farm duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of our farm.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Working Conditions
  • Work Language

English.

Hours of Work

35 to 40 hours per week.
