Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Assistant - Hematology Specialist

Job Summary:
Dynacare is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Assistant to join our Hematology team in Brampton, Ontario. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for preparing samples and reagents for routine processing, performing simple non-interpretive tests, and ensuring quality control checks are run as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare samples and reagents for routine processing
Perform simple non-interpretive tests under the technical oversight of a Senior Clinical Laboratory Assistant or Medical Laboratory Technologist
Ensure quality control checks and standards are run as required
Participate in all quality assurance programs and ensure company and Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines are observed

Requirements:
Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification required or graduate of an approved laboratory assistant course
Excellent data entry skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

Working Conditions:
Required continuous standing/walking with use of fine motor skills
Required to perform some carrying and lifting a maximum of 30 pounds
Exposed to biohazardous substances, chemicals, and noise variances
