Job Description

Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking a skilled Professional Tool Inventory Coordinator to join their Materials Management and Transportation team. This role will be responsible for facilitating the acquisition of commodities authorized by manufacturing using procurement systems and processes.

The successful candidate will act as a liaison to different departments and programs to support all hand tool requirements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing manufacturing requirements and verifying customer requests
  • Coordinating with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues
  • Working with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards
  • Participating in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state-of-the-art cost-effective products
  • Investigating changes in manufacturing requirements and supporting emergent requests
  • Analyzing, procuring, and overseeing procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services
  • Exploring all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules
  • Supporting the evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications
  • Participating in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products
  • Reviewing on-hand inventory and coordinating re-distribution
  • Participating in the plans for the removal of obsolete inventory

This is a 100% onsite position, and the selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. The employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic qualifications include:

  • 3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control
  • 2+ years' experience in Data Analytics
  • 3+ years of experience working with any industry ERP system or an equivalent such as SAP
  • Must be familiar with portable hand tool basic operation and mechanism
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Business Management
  • 2+ years of experience with Crib Master
  • Microsoft Office Suite, proficient with Excel
  • Experience preparing and presenting to a team or leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English
