About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Eugene's Gas Bar. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation and presentation
  • Operate dishwashers and maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain inventory levels
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Assist with food portioning and wrapping, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
