As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes and utensils are washed and sanitized, and assisting with food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation, including portioning and wrapping foods.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sharpen kitchen knives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash.
