**Job Summary**

The Perimeter Institute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Donor Relations to join our Advancement team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about advancing the Institute's mission.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive donor relations strategy to engage and steward top-tier donors
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and relationship managers to ensure seamless communication and coordination with donors
  • Manage recognition and stewardship activities, including events, visits, and updates, to foster strong relationships with donors
  • Work closely with the Training, Educational Outreach, and Scientific Programs team to manage donor-supported student awards
  • Develop and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of donor relations programming

**Requirements**

  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business, fundraising, or events management
  • Minimum of five to six years of experience in development, donor relations, advancement services, and/or special events
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing complex donor relations programs
  • Proven expertise in managing multi-phase projects and optimizing efficiencies through technology
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, focused, and energetic
  • Proficient with MS Office, CRM fundraising databases, and online research
