Job Summary

At Traffic Tech, we are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating the movement of freight across North America and globally. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our customers' needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure seamless freight movement.
  2. Negotiate with shippers and carriers to secure the best rates and services.
  3. Enter data into our system to create load sheets, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  4. Monitor shipment tracking, including pickup and delivery, to ensure timely and efficient service.
  5. Prepare required shipping documentation, including commercial invoices and bills of lading.
  6. Provide effective and professional communication with clients and carriers to resolve any issues or concerns.
  7. Perform minor accounting functions and data entry to support our financial operations.

Requirements:

  1. Must have at least 3 years of previous logistics/transportation experience, preferably in a 3PL environment.
  2. Must have knowledge of cross-border US/Mexico/Canada transportation, including OTR truckload services, such as dry van, flatbed, and reefer.
  3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  4. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  5. Ability to participate in continuous changes to customer data procedures and ensure new changes are maintained.
  6. Problem resolution skills, detail-oriented, and high level of multi-tasking skills are essential.
  7. Professional phone mannerisms and an outgoing personality are a must.
  8. Great attitude and a desire to work hard while having fun.
