Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Hamilton Steel Logistics. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure that welds meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
