Surface Land Analyst Job Description

NSB | Omega is seeking a highly skilled Surface Land Analyst to join our team. As a Surface Land Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our Environmental and Property Solutions team and working collaboratively with our Land Agent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Land Access and Permitting: Request and complete agreements for site access, including road use for end-of-life surface sites.
  • Land System Management: Ensure accurate management of the CS Explorer land system to assure data integrity and comply with obligations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Respond to external partner queries (landowners, third parties, queries from Controllers).
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with ExxonMobil Budapest GBC analysts on various tasks and assignments.
  • Team Meetings and Training: Attend E&PS team meetings, as required.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess a solid understanding of current industry policies and regulations affecting surface rights.
  • Technical Skills: Review, thoroughly understand, and adhere to all Surface Land and Corporate procedures, including business controls, cyber-security, and all other corporate policies.
  • Business Acumen: Sound business judgment with effective analytical skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Strong communication, organization, and team skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working or advanced-level knowledge of CS Explorer (or other land system), IHS AccuMap, SPIN, Abadata, and Microsoft Office suite.

Duration: 1 year (with possibility of extension)
