About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Helper at Bravo Pizzeria. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
  • Food Preparation and Storage: Place dishes in storage areas, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to support our kitchen operations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Our kitchen is a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and performing repetitive tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
