Key Responsibilities:- Conduct experiments measuring and manipulating people's proportional reasoning ability and strategies across different contexts using online and in-person experimental protocols with children and adults.
- Annotate videos of infants participating in asynchronous research studies, requiring high attention to detail and manual annotation of looking-behavior.
- Collect and analyze data from experiments, maintaining high organization and creating data analysis pipelines.
- Develop and maintain well-commented analysis code.
- Collaborate on writing scientific reports based on experimental findings, including literature review and revisions.
- Create study protocols for new studies.
- Design experimental stimuli and materials.
- Provide feedback on lab projects and communicate effectively within the lab and externally.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and up to two years of relevant experience working in research support. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of lab procedures/paradigms, and excellent writing/communication skills are essential. Flexibility is also required to accommodate external schedules.
