Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies that align with the company's goals and values.

Candidate Experience

  • Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience from initial contact through the entire recruitment process.
  • Provide timely communication, feedback, and updates to candidates.
  • Consider candidates for different positions based on their skills and qualifications.

Compliance and Diversity

  • Ensure adherence to relevant labor laws and regulations while promoting diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the recruitment process.

Continuous Improvement / Technology

  • Participate in various projects leading to the enhancement of our technology, including Workday ATS.
  • Support the adoption of Workday in the talent acquisition and onboarding activities.
  • Assist with monitoring new Workday releases and features and assess whether they would bring benefits to Fednav.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor practices, and emerging recruitment technologies and participate in improving the talent acquisition tools, including Workday Recruitment module and Career portal.

Onboarding

  • Complete full-cycle onboarding for new hires and coordinate with various departments and hiring managers to ensure all necessary equipment, access, and resources are ready for new hires on their start date.
  • Promote the Company's culture through onboarding presentations and act as a resource for new hires, answering questions, addressing concerns, and providing guidance during the initial onboarding period.
  • Participate in the revamp of our Onboarding Program, leveraging automation in Workday in collaboration with IT and other service departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent mix of education and experience is required; degree in business administration or human resources is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct recruitment experience, either on the agency side or corporate for professional roles.
  • Experience with campus recruitment.
  • Experience sourcing through social media methods, including Indeed, LinkedIn, and other industry-specific networking sites.
  • Strong interest and knowledge of talent acquisition software (ATS), Workday is a preferred asset.
  • Experience direct sourcing and developing a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills.
  • Ability to interact, influence, and negotiate with a variety of internal clients and external candidates.
  • Proactive and able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience with psychometric and personality assessment tools, a preferred asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in both French and English.
